a feel-good story about killer tech and the apocalypse

This was not what I was expecting in an yet another apocalypse comic. I guess the scooby doo-ish art should have been a tip-off, but the tone is more like Brooklyn Nine-Nine only with a very Bay Area-insider view of San Francisco (so Bay Area Nine-Nine). The whole story is a dig at the tech scene (although it has the feel of being from the vantage point of the Bay Area millennials who actually do pretty well in tech, you know the type that are featured in ads and company websites pondering their laptops in the open offices or coffee shops, so the jokey complaints about the cost of living for people making six figures are a bit off-putting. But this is a story not to be taken seriously, everyone is having a great time even in the end times, and the final message seems to be, a la Bill …
